The Patriarchal model of organising Society and Culture, by giving power to men and masculinity over women and femininity, over many millennia, has wounded not just women but men and all genders too. It is playing out as a crisis of imbalance across all our burning planetary and personal challenges at this Time. It has clearly served its purpose and now needs to be allowed to die, compassionately hospiced. So that a new, more equal and inclusive world can be born. One we will have to midwife courageously, to enable Synarchy as its replacement.

This is the great work of our Time. Regardless of Gender, we each have to restore the Feminine Force, Shakti across all systems, and allow it to heal the imbalance. It is Time to #RiseInLoveTogether

Patriarchy Unplugged’, is a salute and supportto a call by Lucia Rene in her book of a similar title (Unplugging the Patriarchy), as well as to mean presenting raw, unedited or electronically ‘un-mastered’ conversations on the subject. Allowing for deep and honest sharing thatis required for truth and reconciliation with this part of Human history.

Nilima Bhat is Coauthor of My Cancer is Me and Shakti Leadership, founder director of Shakti Fellowship, co-convener Truth&ReconciliationWork and ShaktiKumbh.

When I shared with Nilima, my mentor, about the struggling, feelings and emotional impact I have had regarding my divorce, her answer was an invitation to – finally- launch this project: Patriarchy Unplugged.

This project evokes Candid and Crucial Conversations to Restore Gender Relations with the Healing Power of the Feminine Force.

The ShaktiCast is a production created by Nilima Bhat and me, Elisa Rosenthal.
I am graduated in the first cohort of Shakti Fellowship, writer and founder of the first female Instituto in the Brazilian real estate market, with more than 1.200 women.

The professor and archeologist Almudena Hermando said once: “the more undervalued are relations and emotions in social discourse, the more patriarchal the society is”

Nilima, the mental health crises after pandemic is a reality and women are the highest impacted specially due to our multiple roles, invisibility and non remunerated routine.

How to balance and embrace the feminine and masculine energies and rescue our women and society?

What makes us believe that it is time to hospice patriarchy and midwife synarchy?

Highlights of Questions covered:
Raj, in your latest book, the Healing Organization, we can be inspired by several examples of companies that care about the human being, the environment and the economy. Most of them are led by men. What’s the role of men to unplug the patriarchy, especially regarding company’s leadership?

Nilima, how can feminism and the female movements can hold the space for men in this transition and (for both Nilima and Raj) how can we keep the balance?

For those that are listening to us right now and are not familiarized with the Shakti Leadership concept, maybe could understand that conversation on the shallow nature of gender issues. What we are debating is much more deep and is reflected, essentially in how leadership is manifested. A recent example of that happened here, in Brazil, with the polarization of politics.

How can we evoke Shakti Leadership in such a binary environment?

Raj, how can companies help and act at this moment? Can you give us some examples?

Nilima, during the World Cup we saw several manifestations for women rights. One of them, an Iranian football player, Amir Nasr Azadani, was sentenced to 26 years in jail due to his support. The process of unplugging could be painful and leave scars..what are the benefits of this new moment and how we can encourage more voices to be part of it?
